tauzero Posted March 24, 2016 Share Posted March 24, 2016 Couldn't you tune the B up a semitone, then put an A string on in the E string place and tune it to G, a D instead of an A and so on, all tuned down a tone, so you're tuned the same as the bottom strings of the guitar? miles'tone Posted March 25, 2016 Share Posted March 25, 2016 I just put a capo across the first frets on my 5er if I want an open C. No tension issues that way.
