Hey guys I've been offered a aria pro ii Magna for a very cheap price, I couldn't find much about this online so I figured post it here and see if anyone has any info.

Cool-looking bass. Not familiar with this exact model but it's very close to the Aria Avante Steve Bailey sig:

Dunno how cheap it is - but I'd buy it, always liked the look of these.

You might get some info from one of the APII Facebook groups:

This is a post-Matsumoku, probably Korean-made bass. They don't talk about those!

Thanks for the information guys, I ended up buying it as the price was crazy low, I droped it into the local music store for a full restoration and setup and can say it's one of the finest 5 strings I've ever played. The chap in the music store was in hysterics for what I picked it up for haha.

That's amazing. It does look remarkably similar to my Steve Bailey 6 string. I love this bass...only purchased from the Bass Gallery (London), about 2 years ago its now no. 1 in my collection. The quality is comparable to the Yamaha signature series, my only criticism is the scratch plate feels a bit thin. Enjoy....

I believe it is from the Steve Bailey series. There was also a 4 string... I have an old bassist magazine somewhere with Carol Kate sporting the 4 string.
