Chiliwailer
Is anti-GAS a condition?
Exactly, been thinking that a lot myself. Since I got my Lull I've sold off some killer basses. Anti-GAS, love it.
CamdenRob
I get a weird anti-GAS feeling when I've fallen out of love with a bass / amp etc... I can't have it around me anymore and end up selling it for a fraction of the cost, like I can't bare to own it anymore... I have issues Edited March 30, 2016 by CamdenRob
Paul S
Deflation, maybe? Removal of GAS and selling at a loss. I have no specific GAS for anything as I have all the gear I need to make the sound I want. But of course then sometimes something comes along from left of field that I never knew existed and suddenly it becomes an obsession. Because you never know unless you try. That is how I got my Yamaha SB-15, which is now one of my top 3 favourite basses.
12stringbassist
A doctor writes: "GAS is possible to cure temporarily. There is, however, a 90% chance of a recurrence in later life."
Twincam
I do have serious amp and cab gas still though. More than ever in fact now I've found my bass. I've still yet to try a rik I love the looks but no gas for one.
Ghost_Bass
I've been "Bass GAS" free since i've got the TRB 5PII (and i think i'm permanently cured) but that didn't stop me from having "Backup Bass GAS"...
