Sorry to see this one go. I had both this and the current L2500 model at one time and preferred to keep this one and sold the newer one.
It is loaded with EMG pickups which sound completely different to the G&L pickups, deeper bass and more hi fi.
The neck is chunky, small hands might struggle. It's from the late 1990's and I had it refinished black, which is an OK job, but there are swirls and one or two very minor dents as one would expect from a bass which is around fifteen years old. There were only around 500 of these made, I believe.
Very comfortable on the shoulder. I always think it feels like a 35" scale, but it is certainly 34".
It has a 9volt active pre amp and the controls are volume, pickup pan and bass/treble stacked. Nice maple fingerboard.
G&L hard case included, has one chrome domed foot missing.
