nash
How do these compare to MiM Febder Ps? Worth a shot? http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Sandberg_ELECTRA_Vs_Black_files/ElectraVsFront.jpg
Mudpup
In my opinion Sandbergs are very well made and even the "budget" end will outperform most others at the same price points. I've played a few Electras and they are fantastic basses with a good consistency of build and sound - with Fenders, its a bit hit or miss whether you'll get a good one or not. The Electra has a lovely natural wiry zing to the sound but you can dial it out easily if you want old school thud. The necks are awesome too. Well worth a punt and you won't lose much if you decide to flip it later Edited March 28, 2016 by Mudpup
isteen
I have played the Electra series, both jazz and P-bass. I actually own the P bass, and in my opinion it's a winner. I've had Fender mexican P-basses too, but the Electra is my preferred choice. If it was stolen or broken I would get a new one without any hesitation - can't recommend it enough! grayn
I'd go for the Electra, every time. And that one looks very cool.
Horizontalste
Always been intrigued by these but can't help but think Sandberg missed a trick by not including a five string in the range
ead
I briefly owned a German-made VS (all passive though). Cracking bass, it was a very close call between it and a Jazz for the blues band I inhabit in a Boys Night Out kind of way..
steviebee74
I have the sunburst/black hardware version of this and it's a great bit of kit for the money. I've currently got it strung with flats. At the time, I also played the "J" version which was also nice.
