I happen to know of a certain luthier that could do wonders with this! Maybe recalibrate the angle of nut height and file them to within a knats chuff of 0.000000001mm, then stick a pick up in from a woolworths £5 special and convert it to 1 string for those "fat fingered bassists" out there! 😂😂😂

Grangur - Once the wood filler is dry you could always insert the new frets into the adjacent wood. +/- an inch should make too much difference and you can still see the woodfiller.
