D'oh!

My Burman has been suffering from a bad hum lately. I thought it might be down to a DI that was fitted as it was reported at the time that a bad earth had been fixed. I've moved out to West Berkshire so getting it to Greg at Guitaraid in Putney is a bit of a schlep.
I was advised to take it to Stuart at Berkshire amp repairs in Caversham. Stuart does work for Bass Gear who are not far away.
Anyhoo, took it over and dropped it off. Had a call that all was fixed and all was well. So what was the hum?

"I just took those cheap patch leads out that were bridging the channels and the hum stopped"
