Stance
While making some time on Youtueb, just saw some classic Natas footage. At 15.30 that song made me want to play bass! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccf0ENQBee0 What a great bassline -- ahhhh the 80's

Stance
Mike Watt on the bass! The Chili Peppers dedicated their 1991 album to him!

Lightlyseared
Classic band. Pre-internet, skate video soundtracks were a great source of musical inspiration, the tapes you got with Thrasher too.
bubinga5
Talking of Skate vids, Sorry to hijack the OP's thread. i was a skater in the mid 90's, Public Domain was a classic, with Ray Barbie, Eric Sanderson, Chet Thomas. Lightlyseared
Chuck Treece! Possibly the only person to play with both Billy Joel and Bad Brains. Streets of Fire had a great soundtrack too. One of my favs along with Public Domain and Animal Chin.

Wish I still had that board, I broke it in half and never found another I liked quite as much. So much good music from late 80s / early 90s alternative culture both here and the USA.
