Classic Tokai Jazz Sound Bass for sale
I have a beautiful 1980's gold Tokai Jazz Sound bass for sale. It is in fantastic condition given its age. I have seen these selling for upwards of £700 on eBay, but have priced it for a quick sale.I am looking for offers over £350.

Number is L15378. A few cosmetic dents and signs of wear, but it plays and sounds great!

Please see more photos here:

Ideally, the buyer would collect from Cambridge UK.

Wow that's cool as hell. And cheap. I'm sorted for jazzes and Tokais but this really stands out in the forum.

+1

I had one of these for a few years (about 10 years ago) in CAR that was superb! Traded it with the Beedster IIRC..

Anyway, it sounded and played as well as, if not better, than a '66 Jazz that I had once.

Thanks for the comments guys - yes it is a lovely instrument. I don't really play bass - so would like it to go to someone who can appreciate it and get more use out of it. I am looking to get another 6 string with the proceeds!

Hi whaleboys,

I've already bumped into this beauty in eBay. Again, my question is the same: would you consider shipping it Hungary? Thanks

I've just bought a Teal green fretless version of this bass and have been blown away by how good it is (I paid more than this too)

Bump for a great bass

I would prefer not to post unless I have to - but depends on what offers I get to be honest.

Hi, what actual year is this from?

Sorry - I don't know the exact year - early 1980's i believe. Maybe someone can age it from the pictures. I found it a bit confusing on the Tokai registry to give a precise date.

I've a white one of these with same headstock logo and mines an '84 so I'd hues it's to same or '85. Wish I could afford this to compliment it! Excellent basses these

Thanks Mojobass - I bet it looks great in white too! It does play really well and has a great quality feel. I will miss it, but don't play it enough to justify keeping it.
