Hey all, I'm selling my Hofner Contemporary-Series Violin bass - it's Sunburst colour, and an absolutely beautiful machine. I bought it new, and I've played it in my bedroom and in band practices for about 18 months, but decided to sell as I'm saving up for my very own Fender Jazz!

The finish is flawless, shiny as an apple.

If you've ever played a Hofner violin bass, you'll know how sweet it feels under your fingers - it has a mellow tone at the top end, full mids AND (specific to the Contemporary series) it has a full, bassy low end courtesy of a resonating block they put in all the Hofner contemporary models for contemporary bass tones. [b]DON'T BE FOOLED - this bass is VERY VERSATILE[/b] - I've played it with a rock band AND a funk band, and it cuts right through the mix in both.
