Lightweight subs?

What's your budget? I use a fab lightweight (45lb) powered sub (Fohhn XS22) but it cost £2.5k...You could do a lot worse than look at Mackie or RCF. For more money, Yamaha's newer PA speakers are nice (they bought Nexo and are using their technology).

Assume you mean for P.A... not a fan of Mackie subs at all...

If you want small and relatively light, then the Yam DXS12 is ok..

Just be reasonable what you expect it to do.
There is a reason why the better subs are generally heavy 15 and 18's

For budget prices...relatively, the RCF 705/905's are a step up, IMO.

I only have reasonable experience of Mackie subs and not of the other makes JTUK mentions but I have to agree, we've been using them for 10+ years now and they are a bit flabby, prone to breaking and generally just a pain in the arse.
