At last after many years I'm going to see The brand New heavies. Me and my sister have Tony Momrelle from Incognito and the incredible Rita Satch at lunch time in Cheltenham. then the Motherf***in Brand New Heavies at 8.00 pm. with 13 friends who love them as much as i do. The great music from Jan K, Simon, Andrew etc just kept coming and coming. I'm amazed they started the group in the early 80's.?!! [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5it1xseG_8[/media]

Sorry to say but I also heard than Jan quit the band. The latest promo pics have him missing.
If so, and IMHO, a big loss and a shame as I always thought his singing was a highlight for me.
