Sorry if this has been mentioned on here already, it is a scheme run by the Arts council specifically designed to relieve bass players of any gas they may be suffering from.

It is a scheme that gives you intrest free credit from them to allow you to buy a nice new instrument.

Surely it simply means that you have to be over 18 to get credit and not be already riddled with debt?

I am 42 and have used it to relieve my Rik GAS *waits 2 years for delivery or something*

I've used it and it's also a long time since I was a yoof.

I think the "subject to age and status" disclaimer appears on all credit offers.

Saw this in the window of a local music shop & wondered what is was about.


Seems an excellent idea for some, bad idea for others.

Eg. I may end up getting a USA jazz much earlier than I intended.
