[color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][b]Mary Stark[/b]: Artist filmmaker Mary Stark explores film projection as a site of wonder and imagination with work that crosses the boundaries between visual arts, textiles and music. [/font][/color]

[color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][b]V4V[/b]: fresh from sell out shows with THIS IS NOT THIS HEAT drummer[b] Charles Hayward[/b] presents a new project featuring[b]DJ BPM [/b](samples, FX) [b]Nick Doyne-Ditmas[/b] (bass, flugelhorn), [b]Vern Edwards[/b] (guitar). Ambiguous funk sound art, melting manipulated samples, fractured grooves, interlocking loops, human and machine.[/font][/color]

[color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][b]Mica Levi[/b]: Micachu and the Shapes lynchpin, Mica, will be playing a DJ set. Expect the unexpected, embrace uncertainty.[/font][/color]

[color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]An improvisational sound ensemble who have performed across Europe over the last nine years. They produce an experience of sound to envelop the audience in the act of the moment and the art of the moment. utilises found objects, engineered metal, deconstructed traditional instruments and audio toys.For this special free 3 hour performance improvisational sound ensemble Ampersand will build a total environment surrounding the listener.[/font][/color]

[color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Ruthie Woodward of NX records in conversation with fellow record label workers, discussing the trials, tribulations, joys and rewards of operating small, independent labels promoting experimental and outsider music.[/font][/color]

Saw some great comedy, and a lot less, but equally great music at both the old and the current Albany Empire - long time ago now, but remember the current (keep wanting to say new, but we're talking 35 years ago) one was a great venue.
