Toasted
It'll be ready in 6 - 8 months. I'm very excited. Not sure if there'll be any progress pictures but if there are I will post them here Edited January 13, 2009 by Toasted
mcgraham
Any clues or are you going to keep us in suspense for a bit? I would personally prefer the former Mark

Toasted
Cross psoting from TB: Make: Sadowsky Model: NYC Modern 5-24 fret Body: Ash / flamed maple top Neck: maple/maple Electrics: Nordstrand Big Singles in Sadowsky shells / Sadowsky Pre Hardware: Black Finish: Trans. black / black burst edging. Misc: Standard nut width, black face dots, recessed straplocks, portabag. That's it until Sadowsky confirm the spec back to me - I'm sure I agreed alot more with Kevin over the phone, but I don't remember! I've got to decide over a vintage tint on the neck, or not. Right now I'm in "modern metal" mode, and thinking that a vintage tint might dull the "modern" I think it should be a good sonic counterpart to my all black Celinder 4 string. Dread Bass
intrested to see pics of that finish i love black basses but theyre not very interesting so having a trans black could be a winner.
Dread Bass
you should def get a black headstock face if you can. I would not go for vintage tint i think it would look a bit out of place.

Toasted
I went to pay for my bass on my credit card a week ago when the rate was 1.72 USD to GBP. My bank held the payment (to protect me against fraud) and by the time they've managed to call me to tell me, to "approve" this transaction the rate's fallen to 1.68 and my bass is now costing me another £100. Thanks HSBC.
