Think the square magnet one is the original Cerwin Vega driver and probably 100w 8ohm other is 200watt 8ohm. Not tested at volume but both pass the 9v battery test. £35 the pair. cd_david Posted April 10, 2016 Author Share Posted April 10, 2016 (edited) Placing a 9 volt battery across the connection terminals and check the driver moves forwards or reverse depending on polarity then swapping the battery round and connecting again to make sure it travels in the opposite direction. The battery is DC (unlike AC which music is) so will send the driver in one direction only which is why you reverse the terminals. Blown drivers don't move.
