Huge Hands
Hi Discreet - I'd be interested to know a ball park figure in what you're paying for this - I showed the link to one of my bands who are a 50's soul and blues outfit and they loved it. However, the first comment was "I bet it is dead expensive" Doesn't have to be exact, just a rough idea!

[/quote] No-one has yet mentioned cost or how it's being funded. There's a link to the site in the OP so you could phone or send them a mail? Meanwhile I'm rehearsing tonight so I'll ask the question and get back to you.
BigRedX
Nice to see a "vintage" recording studio which actually features some decent quality vintage gear. I've seen too many studios recently buying up all sorts of old tat, that I wouldn't have even considered for use with my Portatstudio back in the 80s because it was simply rubbish. Just because it's old and analogue doesn't automatically mean it's going to be any good. Edited April 13, 2016 by BigRedX

slap_it_hard
Having played in an 8 piece Jump Jive/ R & B style band band with Pat Reyford (note the correct spelling guys), & being in part a Rock-A-Billy (again, that's how it's spelt) bass player, amongst other genres, I can tell you that the studio is awesome, as I've recorded a couple of albums there... Pat is an awesome musician & a lovely fella & knows how to record & mix too. Check out the studio on F/B if you need to Oh, & don't touch anything in the studio...Just kidding! Incidentally...I teach 50's Double Bass playing kids :-)
