Walkabout Scout Woes

I am going to be changing the tubes in my Walkabout Scout. I removed the amp from the cab and am currently trying to remove the screws from the sides of the amp so that I can access the innards. A couple of the screws just won't budge. Any tips anyone?

I don't have my amp to hand, so I'm trying to picture the screws you mean - IIRC you just need to unscrew those that are on the top..?

I was trying to remove the screws from the side of the amp as well. The metal that covers the top also bends round the sides to the bottom of the amp. Is this the same with your amp?

Neat! The fans a bit noisy on mine, doesn't look like too bad a job to change it, looking at the photo. Should I ever feel the need.....
