New Bass Day

I've received my new to me Mexican Jazz in Candy Apple Red with maple fretboard today, which I bought off 40hz.
It's got an awesome growly tone with loads of variation with only a small adjustment of the volume and tone controls. This is going to make it a very versatile bass.
I've presently got a Squier VM 77 Jazz which I thought had a good tone but it's nothing compared with this.
I just need to try it out live but haven't got a gig until 14th May. It's gonna be a long month!
