cricriii Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 (edited) 1600€ /!\ With the GBP fluctuation, i let you make the conversion from € to GBP/!\ Circa 2001. PU changed for EMG from an late 80' Thumb and pre changed for an EMG BQC-C (Far less muddy in bass boost and crisp in treble boost than MEC pre + variable frequency mid knob). One or 2 dings, but it's in a very very good shape for a 14 years old instrument. String spacing at the bridge can be set from 16.5 to 18mm, nut width is about 4.5cm and weigh 4.6kg Shipping cost needs to be estimated on demand as it depends of delivery location, but you can test and grab it in France too, i'm located near Paris. I can consider a trade, only with 5strings and fretted basses like : - Spector US, JH5 or HH5 - Warwick SS2 - Warwick SS1 (+ money from you) - Peavey Cirrus (+ money from you) - Roscoe SKB ou LG Or [s]1800 1650€[/s] 1600€ for a sale (Trade value: 1700€) Cheers Old pix More detailled pics with stock PU and pre Edited December 9, 2016 by cricriii
Risk101 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Would it be possible to confirm the string spacing at the bridge, the neck width at the nut, and the weight Thanks David
cricriii Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 String spacing at the bridge can be set from 16.5 to 18mm, nut width is about 4.5cm and weigh 4.6kg Hope this will help
Risk101 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 (edited) Hi, thanks for the info. Absolutely gorgeous bass. I'm sure at this price it will be gone soon! Edited April 14, 2016 by Risk101
Norwood Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Yes really light for a thumb bass. Wood is just amazing. Good sale
cricriii Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 Thx Risk, Kev and Greg ! Here a new pic with EMGs and EAST pre. As you can see, it's pretty close to the original pots. Forgive the pic quality, made with a phone and inside my house
roman_sub Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Lovely curly wood and the East pre is sure to make it even better
cricriii Posted April 15, 2016 Author Posted April 15, 2016 Sure, the East UNIPRE is amazing ! A lot better than the stock MEC sh*t that hiss a lot and compress the signal. A lot expensive too with the €/£ ratio but this thumb deserves this: killer sounding now !
cricriii Posted May 17, 2016 Author Posted May 17, 2016 I dunno. Anyway i'll be happy to keep it if no one wants it
Ceebass Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 I wouldn't normally post in the sale section unless I was buying, but this is the most amazing instrument! Nicest Warwick I've ever seen (keep it dude!)
