For Sale: Spector Rebop dlx 4 string in black stain matte finish upgraded with active Emg 35dc pickups & BQC pre amp, with fitted hardcase.

I got this recently from basschatter TommyK & she's beautiful but I can't get used to such a small & light bass-I actually find a heavier bass with a bigger body more comfy..! So with regret here she is.

Lovely condition & sounds monstrous!

No Trades as I have my eyes on something specific.

Hi. Nice bass.

A few questions please:

1. Is the case an official Spector one, or generic?
2. Did you (or your luthier/tech) upgrade the pickups and electronics, or did you buy the bass with the upgrades already in place?
3. Is it currently wired for 9V or 18V operation?

Hi there,

1. The case has no branding but is fitted for the rebop.
2. I bought the bass with the upgraded pups & electronics.
3. It is wired for 9v

When you say "such a small bass", do you mean the body size, or neck length, or string spacing, or...?

Hi, it's the body size, since playing Spectors years ago I've played jazz basses & actually found the larger, heavier body more comfortable for me, which is a shame as I really lusted after a Spector after so long 😢
