It started as a black Sterling SUB and I've modded it beyond recognition. I finished the project in the summer last year and since then it's only been used 4 times (2 rehearsals and 2 gigs). These days I play upright mostly and can't justify such an expensive ornament. The mods are as follows... Sterling ball stingray body, stripped and refinished in blue metal flake, Custom status graphite carbon fibre neck, with blue tint, Delano FE musicman pickup (wired parallel), John East 2 band active preamp, Hipshot Lic ultralite tuners, Hitshot detuner/extender, Schaller straploks, Aftermarket white pearl guard. With the sale I'll include a gigbag, stand and a box of PP3 batteries (not going to need them anymore) and an SKB bass safe. Whilst collection is preferred, with a gigbag and bass safe I'll post if buyer is willing to pay for a courier. Yes it's a less desirable SUB but other than the actual body it's virtually a completely different bass...if I didn't have so many basses.. Complete madness...The world must be coming to an end!!
