Spitfire make really fantastic guards, but they are very expensive and really only worth fitting to a genuine vintage instrument or a very good replica. Edited April 16, 2016 by discreet Quote
chrisanthony1211 Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Fortunately it's my 64 precision I'm looking at getting one for, it will look stunning (once I have the brownie points) Unless anyone is selling one! Quote
Roger2611 Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 I liked the black, I think I liked the mint as well but sitting here in the dark I thought it made the bass take on a pinkish hue? I just showed Mrs2611 the mint picture and asked what colour the body was, she said pink as well Quote

None of the pickguards are quite the colours they look in those photos. I needed to take the photos outside really but a downpour prevented that unfortunately. The body is quite a pure white, although even in reality it looks a little pink with the mint guard on... Quote
alyctes Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Mint. Or you could put one of those fancy wooden ones on. That's perverse enough to be worth a try, I reckon. Quote
