Cynical answer is probably like their other Precision clones, only differences appear to be new purple colour and bridge and pickup covers which are absent on the Power bass. Unless anyone from Bass Centre can illuminate?

Didn't we already decide these are sexed up SX basses from the same factory but costing a lot more? Or did I imagine that?

so you make a tribute bass to JJ.
You think P bass, flats, possibly high action, the pup and bridge covers. and a sun burst finish like ol' JJ.
No you go purple body and headstock, covers that dont look right..... why purple? why?

At half the price they'd probably be fantastic, but £250 for a Chinese SX/JIM Deacon ?

I've got the `J' bass version and its superb. Very well made and setup. Can't comment on the SX as I've never seen one but the fit and finish on these Bass Collections is very good.
