The Vantage Quartet

I'm as happy as can be.
After"settling" for Vantages that feels and plays like one that was stolen in -91,
i found an auction for one IDENTICAL to the stolen one!
I was the only bidder so naturally i won.
That takes my total up to four Vantage 710B's!

I know nothing about Vantage but there's a hint of Alembic there which I find very attractive.

Double P pickups are always intriguing too.

They are old japanese basses from the Matsumoko-factory.
Great craftmanship and the twin P-pickups are DiMarzio clones.
These are from 1980, 1981 and 2 x 1982.

These are great basses! I nearly bought a mystic once, but something put me off last minute. I love the look of them. They remind me of the S.D. Curlee basses from back in the day
