AnalogBomb
Hi Folks, here for sale is my TC Electronic Staccato 51 head. This is the Rocco Prestia signature head and is voiced to match his 'signature sound'. 450w at 4ohms. Good condition ( has a slight scratch on the top of the casing, which was there when I bought it, from this very forum!). Only selling as I fancy Karlfer's MB TTE, so no trades, thanks. Price also includes TC gig bag, which is very useful and provides great protection. Great sounding and versatile amp! Based in Leeds and can travel or post at buyers expense. Thanks for looking. AB Edited April 19, 2016 by AnalogBomb
karlfer
Whilst I do have a vested interest in Jonny's sale, we have dealt a couple of times previously, and he is a lovely, top class bloke. However, unlike me, he is not a magpie gear whore who changes gear more than under crackers. These do not come up very often, so, to help him out a little, (copied) TC Electronic Staccato '51 Bass Head In response to Rocco Prestia's (Tower of Power's bassist) stringent needs, TC Electronic present the Stacatto '51. Based upon TC's best-selling RH450 head, the Staccato 51, and as such has all the unique features of the 450 such as Tubetone Technology, Spectra Comp per-string compression and integrated fast-tracking chromatic tuner. The Staccato however is voiced for Rocco's unique "Finger Style Funk" playing with accentuated highs and lows and fast, accurate response. Tech Specs

Input connector: 1/4" jack
Input impedance: 1 Mohm / 100 pF
Gain range: -96 to 32dB
Bass: Center Freq: 280Hz (range: 71-1120Hz, Gain: +15/-24dB)
Low Mid: Center Freq: 400Hz (range: 100-1600Hz, Gain: +15/-24dB)
High Mid: Center Freq: 800Hz (range: 200-3150Hz, Gain: +15/-24dB)
Treble: Center Freq: 1600Hz (range: 400-6300Hz, Gain: +12/-24dB)
Tube Tone: 0 to 12, Tube amp Recreation
Spectra Comp: 3 band Spectral Compression
Preset Level: -12 dB to 0 gain attenuation
User Memories: 3 memory locations storing all front panel controls except Mute & Master Level
Tuning range: Chromatic, constant on A0 (27.50Hz) to E5 (659.26Hz)
Mute: Mutes speaker out, Phones out and Balanced out
Master Level Headphone Output: Studio quality headphone amp
Impedance: 40 to 600 Ohm
Mains supply: Universal 100 - 240V 50/60Hz (80w @ 1/8 Power)
Speaker out: Combined Speakon / 1/4" jack
Power rating: 450w (800w Peak)
Balanced output: Transformer Balanced XLR, Pre/Post Pre-amp
Max. patch006
This amp for me is like the love child of the mark bass F1 and Rh 450 best of both worlds. if I didn't have the Rh750 I would be all over this.
