Brave Sir Robin Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 I like it. Old school british punk. The looks anyway. It seems too nice of an instrument for punks Quote

7string Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 The relic'd Union Flag looks very cool indeed. Quote
beerdragon Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 If thats a Sandberg california they are over £900. or did you already have the bass and get it resprayed. Quote
waynepunkdude Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008
We'll let Wayne decide that one .
I think it looks like a beast not a fan of the paint job it would be more 'Punl' if it was a bright colour or was covered in sticker. As for it being too good for Punk, you have to remember Punk is great music played by terrible musicians so we nee the best instruments we can get our hands on to sound good. thebeat Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 What the f*** does the Union flag have to do with punk? other than it appearing on some Sex Pistols merchandise. I would say that the Union flag is almost the antithesis of all that punk was supposed to stand for. Quote
wateroftyne Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 You just answered yor own question... Quote
markytbass Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 I love the paint job, it looks better than the un-reliced finish on the other bass, give's it character. Quote
Bassassin Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 I'm neither a fan of reliced finishes, nor of jingoistic flag-waving - but that works, better than it has any right to! Jon. Quote
thebeat Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 I like it too...but it would suit a Mod band better than a Punk band Quote
