probablypike
Is there something I'm missing here? TC BG250 MKII combo: 250w, 1x15 speaker. £270 new. Fender Rumble 200 v3: 200w, 1x15 speaker. £400 new. Rumble is more lightweight, but the TC toneprint seems to outweigh the Rumble feature functionality. I know I'm simplifying things here, but is the Rumble really worth the extra £130?
Muppet
I'd spend the extra £50 and get the rumble 500 to be honest. I've one of those and a BG250 and the Fender is, in my opinion, much better. The voicing options outweigh the toneprint functions. It is a 2x10 though as opposed to a 1x15.
Marvin
It's the whole 'Toneprint' thing that really put me off the TC Electronic when I was looking for a combo. That said I wouldn't buy the Rumble 200, like Muppet I'd go for the 500...which is what I did.
Raslee
I got the new Hartke Kickback 12, 500W today. £289 from GAK, seems to be the cheapest I could find. Lightweight, good tone and kickback design...winner

probablypike
Yeah, that all makes sense. It's probably fairer making a comparison with the Rumble 100, based on price anyway. You can see how it looks on paper for as long as you like, but at the end of the day, it's the sound that you're paying for.
