6feet7
[size=4]I'm having to go for a light weight 5 string bass (neck/shoulder issues when playing) and like the look of the [color=#000000][font=Tahoma]Ibanez Artcore semi-hollow AGBV205A-TCL 5 String Bass. I like an average to loose tension string (I use DR Sunbeams usually) but I was wondering (as it's a 30.3 inch scale bass) what the best strings (half rounds, smooth feeling rounds or flats. I'm not a massive fan of barbed wire roundwounds) would be that would have some treble along with an old fashioned bass sound and also be good enough to have some definition on the B string (so it's not all muddy). 3below
Try some TIs, They seem to work ok on my Artcore 4 stringer and (and just about anything else I have). Wait until a used 4 string set appears on this parish and then pm me, I have the B string with very low mileage.
