I think he was an endorsee for about five minutes.
Grangur
In the linked video he doesn't appear to be very impressed with the bass. No surprise that he's not been seen with it since.
wateroftyne
I don't think it was ever an official Fender thing.
discreet
LEDs don't look right on a Jazz, somehow ...in fact they just plain don't look right on the fretboard. Surely the tasteful among us would rather have them as edge-markers, if at all? Edited April 21, 2016 by discreet
AndyTravis
I don't think it was ever an official Fender thing.
It was a weird one, arbiter/sims and Mark King... They were all different, I remember seeing one with a tort guard in what looked like turquoise, one in a trans blue and one in a blue burst. They were meant to have a flatter fingerboard. And he was in bassist mag with a red one (may have just been a deluxe jazz) He went from these to GB Spitfires (by all accounts a real 'super jazz') I'm sure I saw him with a Rumour. But he then moved back to status. He always sounds around about the same anyhow...click pop, click pop. Love the guy, genuinely my hero. But he has been a gear whore 😂 Edited April 21, 2016 by AndyTravis
karlfer
I've not looked, but I think it will probably be no4, which is on Facebook at something daft like £1900. Quite a few internet comments around that there were quality issues with these basses. Last one I saw actually sell went for £900 couple of years back. Look great, but potential buyers really need to do their research on this one. EDIT, I've just looked, it was the same one and he's bloody sold it Good luck to the buyer if he doesn't get on with it Edited April 22, 2016 by karlfer

Alembic must feel a bit egg on face after making an exception to their no endorsees policy for him (I'm aware that Stanley Clarke is too).
