Japhet
Have found that (I presume) the electrics in some venues produce a lot of buzz so I've been looking to cancel this out. The Rocktron Hush has caught my eye. Anybody have one, use one or have any opinions/alternatives? Also, what is the difference in Rocktron's 'Reaction' line pedals? ProfFrink
I've heard bad things about this pedal, and OTOH am very happy with my ISP Decimator which only gets good reviews, but is also much more expensive. IIRC TC also came out with a noise-gate a few months ago, but I don't know anything about it. When dealing with hum/buzz, it is not at all expected that a "noise gate" (which is often incorrectly described as a noise-reduction-unit or noise-supression) will solve this. Generally it is only expected to solve noise that are coming from your pups or your pedals, and even this will not always work or be useful. You need to try figure out where the noise is coming from.
