bubinga5 Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 He's playing in Evesham. I've never heard of him.? His name rings a bell, didn't he play with Joe Bonnamassa.? Quote
ezbass Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Currently with Joe Bonamassa, but I reckon his most famous gig was with Bowie on Let's Dance. Quote
SICbass Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Toured with Bowie for years. I think maybe connected to Carlos Alomar who was Bowie's guitarist and MD for a good while. Quote

I love his playing with Bonamassa and would love to see him!!! Quote

The webpage says every bass player within 50 miles should attend. I qualify on distance, need more practice Quote

Was a bit gutted as that was the only thing I was looking forward too. Quote

[/quote] i think it depends on the material he is playing and scheduling as well. he has a couple of go to bassists and drummers that seem to rotate in and out depending on what material he is touring. that said, i hadn't seen Rojas on the recent stuff so wondered if he may be off doing other things now. **doing some more research it does appear that he finished his run with bonamassa last year** Edited April 26, 2016 by RockfordStone Quote
NancyJohnson Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 I know him from Stevie Salas and the Colorcode/Electric Pow Wow projects. I think Salas and Rojas became associated when they played for Rod Stewart about 25 years ago. Quote
