+1 I've used them for a couple of pedal repairs and they were great, I highly recommend to all.

There used to be John Kelly in Camden, a genius with amps, but that was 20 years ago. He used to do a lot of work for the Gallery and touring PA companies.

Theo Argiriadis http://www.tube-electronics.co.uk/. He modified and overhauled my Sound City amp, and is currently converting my Acoustic 140 to UK mains voltage. He can be a bit choosy about the work he takes on, depending on how much custom kit he's building at the time, but is a genius.

I always took my Mesa to him, very reasonable and I'm sure he took more time than he charged for, is he still there.

If you're near Hertfordshire check out Mal Crawley in Stevenage. Details in the Amp Tech thread.

It would be worth asking Ashdown, I understand they’ve taken on Trace Elliots , wasn’t Dave green from Orange ? I believe they’re based in Essex
