mr zed
I was handed an alpine white version of one of these last night in the rehearsal room to try it out by the owner (of the studio and the bass). Put the Volume on full (of course) tone wide open and capacitor setting on 5000. Wow!!! This would cut through any mix. Fantastic and very playable bass. Got gas again! ahpook
If you can live with the neck dive then they're amazing. I can, cos they're amazing. Did I mention the amazing bit ?
Mickeyboro
My sister was keen on his brother, David... 😆
Raggy
Used mine at rehearsal last night, this was after recently buying and having a chat over a coffee, with its previous owner Horace Panter. This might not seem a big deal to some, but to me (as a bass player in a Ska band) it was one of the highlights of my life Im a die hard Precision bass player, but the JC just might turn into my number 1 Ska Machine. Marvin
It's about the only bass from the Epiphone/Gibson catalogue I'd look to buy. There was a second had one in a my local music shop and I was very tempted to buy it.
TheGreek
I bought one about a month ago and arranged for a friend to collect it for me as it was local to him. He still has it - hoping to get it next time he's in sunny Herts.
bassbiscuits
I used one today at a gig for the very first time. It was great. Rock/pop covers gig, It belongs to a mate who'd agreed to lend it to me to buy if I wanted it. Strung with TI flats, nicely set up, it was the mutts nuts. Needless to say he's not having it back...! dannybuoy
I was gassing for one of the limited edition white ones for a while but it seems they're now all out of stock! Oh well, one might turn up used one day or they might come out with an even funkier custom colour option (not the Union Jack version)! Sounds absolutely stupendous, I'd give one a go even if you're not into the looks!
