danbanbass Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Tonight is my first gig with Food Fighterz tonight, nerves are high as I have 25 songs to remember and play. I've have gone through them as much as I can at home and due to one thing or another we've only managed two rehearsals together as we all live quite far away from each other but I am looking forward to it and there's nothing quite like a baptism of fire right? Haha!! Hopefully with some advice received on bass head eq suggestions from fellow basschatters I can get a sound I can work with. Quote
discreet Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 You'll be fine! You also get the award for best tribute act band name! Quote
Clarebear68 Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 You'll be fine... make sure you enjoy it! 👍🏻 Quote
Raymondo Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Back in 2005 I went to see a band in Ilfracombe with my mates (I was on me hols!) and went to see a band called "The Food Fighters"....they were not a foo fighters tribute band They were an excellent covers band though....we all had a fabulous night to the OP ...I am sure that you will have a great gig ....flying by the seat of your pants is always the best way Quote

wmsheep Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 As a punter who was there, I can say that it went bloody brilliantly, and you could not have told it was your debut with the band. Here is to many more gigs. Quote
danbanbass Posted May 8, 2016 Author Posted May 8, 2016 Thanks very much, it was a blast and thoroughly enjoyed even the odd few bummed notes lol!! Glad you enjoyed it also :-) Quote
