Voted!!

The diversity in tone is outstanding considering we're all supposedly playing the same instrument - particularly impressed with Funkshui and XGSJX's tone even though they're miles apart.

Keep up the good work fellas.

These get better and better each month...

My favourite three out of another excellent bunch are Agwin, xgsjx and subsonic.

Agwin's piece is wonderfully musical and I think sounds like a full blown composition, albeit only a minute in length... I can imagine it being used under a fond reminiscing type scene in a movie... Great musicality and smooth tasteful execution.

xgsjx's offering grooves harder than any of the others to my ears this month. I love the attack you add to the key notes whilst holding back a little on the passing and build up notes. It's dynamic and punchy and everything I think a good bass line should be.

I could listen to SubsonicSimpleton's playing all day and if he brought out a solo album I'd buy it in an instant. This is another example of expressive and emotive DB playing, showcasing a flawless technique and some inspired creativity... Love it.

Cheers, I'm flattered! :)

I've yet to vote myself... looking forward to having a listen.

I will have a listen later on and vote. Seems a couple less noodles this week?

One of those was mine, despite having all month the deadline snuck up on me :)

My vote is in. My fav this month is dad3353's entry. Thought it sounded nicely lo fi it just had something to it that reminded me of an old lp. My other votes was for the U2 one and the Primus one lol see if you can work out who I voted for.

Again all were very good. My recording quality was again the worst, going to soundcloud next month to try improve it slightly more YouTube really degraded the original that could be a good thing lol.

Well I see I'm at least drawn in last place with my fav piece this month currently!. So that might suggest my taste in noodles and my noodle making is crap haha.

Congratulations to SubsonicSimpleton! Another fine show.

And well done to every other noodler :)

I'll launch the next challenge sometime today in the Rec' forum.

It took me a while to whittle it down to three (again).
I usually listen through headphones but the other day I was blasting the noodles through my sound system for full effect when I was joined by Mrs Agwife who couldn’t resist dancing around to Subsonic’s worthy winner – Congratulations, Sir.
Well done to everyone who contributed a noodle - such incredible diversity on display.

Yes it was Mrs C's favourite too... Popular with the ladies DB.

Also, due to the decidedly underwhelming level of interest, next month I might try and bribe BCers to vote with some sort of bass related prize... Kinda like a raffle...

We need more voters!
