Ok, Peter Andre, and before u ask I was working at the venue! ...anyway he's a good performer etc etc.. but his band were super tite and bang on the money. Anyone know who the bassist is?...big black guy with dreads, got the impression he was band leader etc...he had a huge very solid tone..kinda hit where it mattered, the whole thing sounded very good indeed, pretty exciting actually. First No was 1999....I love it when a pro soul band kicks off with that style of uptempo No...with swirling keys and brass, almost takes the top of ur head off. Brilliant. Quote

lefrash Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 It's amazing how good these backing guys get. I saw Pink years ago at a festival. Probably my only experience of a 'pop' concert. Well.... Every single member were immense. Seem to remember the guitarist taking a 8 finger tapping solo. Jaws were dropped that day (and probably swinging). Isn't Paul turner doing a stint with will young?? 😅 Quote
