BigHead micro USB problem

I've been using my BigHead happily for a few months but the micro USB connector has suddenly become unreliable and glitches on and off. It wobbles around in the socket on the BigHead which I guess is breaking the connection. Have tried a couple of different cables, there's no dust or lint inside. Any ideas or similar experiences? Seems like a very poor compromise on an otherwise decent bit of kit.

The usb cable on mine became very wobbly. However for me a replacement cable cured it.
