I'll find out in about a month whether I need No 4. I'm getting quite bored with getting cut open.
Although the scarring is beginning to look like a treasure map!

Christ, you deserve some treasure after all that lot. I sincerely hope you don't need No. 4. Good luck.

That rig will kill. I miss my MB Fusion sometimes, along with the RM800 it's the best class D head I've used :)

Ha..! Back in the '70s, my front room at Shepperton was the practise room, about 12 square yards. This was my practise rig...

Two of these stacks, side by side ...

... powered by my Hiwatt DR205 PA head (200w, 4 x KT88 valve amp...)

Over a quarter of a ton..! Yes, we did haul it out for gigs, too..!

All good, but I bet you weren't in your fifties at the time...

It explains, at least partially, my current physical (lack of...) condition..!
...I had a six wheel lwb transit as transport...

Like this ..?

Mine got called 'The Hustler', dunno why.

Whin I moved to France, I 'upgraded' to this (an ex-Gendarmerie ambulance...) ...

... and now, we're fully modernised with our Trafic...

It's still rock'n'roll, none of this namby-pamby featherweight stuff..!
(Well, we might if we were rich, I suppose..! )

Yup, the first picture is exactly it - I painted her Victoria Plum purple & left the roof that beguiling orange - we called her Clara (what else does one call an old cow?).....I bought it as near scrap lying abandoned in a wholesalers yard in Oxford -

:yarr:

Postman Pat :D

Not quite; mine was in this livery...

For the anecdote, I had acquired the thing for only a week or so when I was stopped by the local constabulary, and fined for driving with 'military insignia'..! I tried explaining that I had only just bought the thing (at auction...) from them, I had to 'tag' the Red Crosses away, although I left the roof one..! Luckily, the fine was 'amnestied' when Mitterrand became president in '83, so I never had to pay it. :D

I love my Fusion 500 :D

I spent ages trying all the current Class D crop and the MB Fusion 500 was by far the best to pair with a couple of One 10s. Collective jaws dropped down the pub the other night when I casually chucked into the conversation "I don't miss the SVT stack at all, you know". Many many spilled pints and dropped bacon sandwiches to be cleared up.
