Grangur Posted May 5, 2016 Share Posted May 5, 2016 The Vox Clubman bass was about in the 60s. That was a short scale with steel strings and a neck with no truss-rod. The bass was made in Dartford, Kent and the neck made by Ercol, the furniture factory. But that's another story. However, I've got a Clubman from '64 and the neck is still fine.
