The Bass USPS couldn't break

I got this handmade 1987 USA B.C.Rich neck Thru ST bass for an absolute steal from my friend in New Jersey,he bought a Road Runner polyfoam case for it and shipped it via USPS

Unfortunately they decided to drop the bass on it's headstock,but the polyfoam case allowed the bass to shift forward and puch it's way through the foam,slowing it down enough to not damage the bass at all,If it had been in a Proper hard case,the headstock would have snapped off

Anyway,here's my new old bass







and the damage the headstock and one of the tuners did to the case
