This is a multi-channel 8:1 surround sound piece. Composed to be played back through 8 speakers, creating lots of swirls of movement.[/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Interstate,]
I'd been watching Kubrik's 2001, and listening to the OST a lot. I particularly love Gyorgy Ligeti's Lux Aeterna, that's influenced this quite a bit.[/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Interstate,]
It took ages to create, building up all the little fragments of vocal sounds.[/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Interstate,]
There are no samples or loops used.[/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Interstate,]
It was an exam piece.[/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Interstate,]
Not everyone's cup of tea I know, but I've had a lot of very nice comments about it.[/font][/color]
