Just saw a short video of a young Indian (female) bass player called Mohini Dey on one of my Facebook feeds. Really quite good, well worth a share.

She seems to be the latest YouTube sensation which is great in as much as its putting bass guitar in the spotlight. Anything which might inspire people to pick up a bass is good in my book. Seems a lot of the interest in her is the whole child prodigy thing but I read online last night that she's actually just turned 19 but just looks younger. Still very talented for any age though.
Also quite interesting that she's now endorsing Mayones as in all the videos I've seen of her so far she's been playing a Cort A5.
