Fender Magnificent 7 PJ bass AM std LTD edition

Just noticed these on Dawson's website.

P+J config
60's CS pickups
Jazz neck
American standard series

......but £100+ cheaper than AM std Jazz or P bass.

Anyone tried these?
Best of both worlds? (P+J bass) or a bit of a compromise?

Not seen that model, but Fender P/J, best of both worlds for me

Looks good to me, it's a passive PJ, slightly different vibe to the Elite. Jazz neck means it's going to feel very nice, I'd go for it if I was looking for a new bass.

Nice! Not sure I want a Jazz neck...but I still like it.

Looks boring as hell to me. Of all the things they could have given us, we get a sunburst PJ... Not even a different finish like those blue Teles.

Edit: Not that there's anything wrong with sunburst PJs. It just would have been nice to be offered something a bit different.
