Agwin Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Cheers, Rob. Our band's original material does tend to fall between the three stools of Rock, Metal & Prog. Quote
Twincam Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Ok here is mine for the month. I was just testing out my old wem dominator bass and was listening to how it was reacting. I liked this little section so recorded it. The amp is miked with an iPad, and where I positioned it the second time it picked up the rooms sound colouring. Sounds like there is a bit of overdrive been put on, but it's just the amps natural sound it seems? Be interested to hear what people say about the amps sound. https://soundcloud.com/user-531446910/noodle-4 Quote

FuNkShUi Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Some good entries so far. Impressed with the different tones this month. I'll hopefully get one in tomorrow Quote
Asambique Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 New to the forum and this looks like fun, dug out my old Ashdown Evo-II RPM-1 pre amp which i thought had bitten the dust as the last time i used it (4 years ago) it was playing up. However for the purpose of this noodle it seemed fine. Haven't really played much over the past 4 years let alone record anything but have found the fire again. Had a play around with the sub harmonics on it and this came out. https://soundcloud.com/asambique/suboodle/s-92iG7 Quote

Dad3353 Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Here's mine ... BC Noodle 2016, May ... A quick check-out of our OLP Baritone guitar, tuned as a bass. One take, no treatment whatsoever; I didn't even check the tuning..! Both p/us, fully 'open', played to a 'click' at 120 bpm. Quote

FuNkShUi Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Here's mine for this month: https://soundcloud.com/tona-fied/noodle-4 Apologies for the 2 second run over. Would have re-recorded and not put that slide in the ending, but had to do it quick this month or i wouldn't have had an entry. Hope i can be given just a warning Warwick streamer recorded straight into garage band. 9% reverb. Latin feel to it. To me anyway. Hope you enjoy Quote
Twincam Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Going to catch up on a few of these later on. Hoping we get a few more entries. Quote
