Packing

I'm looking to send a bass - when sold - but I'm out of bass packing material!

Any tips what to use/where to try? I've always had an excess of cardboard before, bought and used the old box!

This time...and last...I'm totally out!

Get bubble wrap off the fruit and veg at any supermarket.

Cardboard best sourced at your local Halford's, used bicycle boxes.

I usually ring Hanford's first so they save one.

go to the local tip/recycling centre, the cardboard section will have all the boxes you need.

Visit your local TV supplier for a box - typically a bass case will fit in a 40" TV box. Most hardware shops have an oversupply of packing material - a bit of charm can works wonders.

Halfords for a bike box every time for me. I have just sent a bass to France without a hard case. It arrived safely. (Phew!)
