rushbo Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/fender-precision-bass-mex/1166809460 I'm not convinced about this...firstly, the "strip down and varnish" job makes it look like a Bass shaped toffee apple, but the small diameter tuners and single ply scratchplate say "Chinese Squier" to me. Other than that, with a Seymour Duncan pup, £180 ain't bad if it's what it says it is. Any thoughts from my more learned colleagues? Quote
discreet Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 What 'bridge pickup'? It looks like a P Bass to me. Quote
hubrad Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 (edited) What did they use to strip it.. a hammer? Mind you.. 'Upgraded to a Jazz US so don't need this anymore.'.. they have so much to learn! Edited May 15, 2016 by hubrad Quote
Hobbayne Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Those Top Hat Stratocaster controls were on some of the early MIM,s before they put on the regular chrome ones. Quote
