FuNkShUi
Ok, i'm probably not going to describe this very well so bare with me.... So i do acoustic guitar shows, where i use the TC Electronic ditto 2 looper. All is well. Great pedal. Does what i need. I was thinking about how could i possibly use more than one instrument into it, other than actually switching leads in and out? So for example say i wanted to layer vocal harmonies, electric guitar, acoustic guitar and bass.... But there's only one Stereo input....... So is it a case of having to switch each out, or is there a better way? I'm thinking a bank of inputs, where each channel can be individually muted, and connect to the pedal through a single 1/4" jack? Orrrrr.... is there a far more elegant solution that i'm not thinking about? Edit to say if this should go somewhere else i'm more than happy for it to be moved Edited May 18, 2016 by FuNkShUi
mike257
There's plenty of pedals around that will switch between inputs - the Boss LS-2 is oft-spotted, Lehle make various clever switchy things, Bright Onion almost certainly build them and could do a custom spec pretty cheaply, and there's plenty more out there. pete.young
Or maybe a small mixer with channel mute switches?

[/quote] The AB/Y pedal can also be used with two inputs and one input. Where it's likely to fall down is the need to balance the signal strength of the inputs, particularly if you want to use it with a microphone and an instrument.
