smaz Posted May 18, 2016 Share Posted May 18, 2016 I've had someone pull out of coming to see Brother Strut tonight in Reading, so I have a spare ticket going if anyone wants it - I'd rather give it away than see it wasted. Only catch is you need to be at Sub89 at around 7.30pm so we go in together, as they're printed tickets with my name on - not sure I can just forward them on. If you've not seen them before, they're absolutely cracking live. And they have the mighty Paul Turner on bass now too! For anyone else thinking of catching them........ Brother strut are one of the best bands i have seen live for lots of reasons, they are tighter than gnats chuff. All the band members are top draw players/singers they are fantastic guys, talking to them, photos, info, nothing is too much trouble for them all their Audience participation is refreshing to see they really do make you feel part of the show. the music is well crafted and catchy as f$£&. as a package they are hard to beat. They are on a mini tour and Steve has put all his dosh into this and so is really trying to make it pay, it works or it really is bust for him, Steve.. "fortune does favour the brave" . and i love the faith he has in it, inspiring so supporting them is well worth it if you can catch them now getting to the end of the tour, just go. Enjoyed it so much, looking at making it a 5th next week if I can! Oh, and I did manage to bump into Paul Turner, who gave me some very good advice...
