thebassist
I recently acquired a vinyl cutting lathe. Takes a bit of getting used to but loving it so far. discreet
Wow, very cool. We were thinking of a vinyl release... could you PM me further details please?
EliasMooseblaster
Nice! Will you be taking orders? We might also seriously consider a short run of vinyl for our last EP... Edit: thank you for answering my question seconds before I could ask it! Edited May 20, 2016 by EliasMooseblaster
thebassist
It's so cool - hard to get used to technically but it's really great to have this thing - it's taken 2 years to get here. I recently launched this site - uppercutvinyl.com.
keeponehandloose
Oohhh! Are you doing labels as well?
Happy Jack
As a businessman, I thought this was excellent: "If you need something quicker, add £2 per record to get your order moved to the front of the cutting queue." No sarcasm or irony intended - this is very simple, very obvious, and (I imagine) very effective.
Depends how many people actually do this, then you'd have to add £4 per record to get to the front of THAT queue, and so on... lowland
I get requests for one-offs and short runs from time to time, I'll give you a shout when the next one comes up. Please contact me at lowlandmasters(at)gmail.com should your customers need a mastering service. I was doing a vinyl premaster today as it happens - a sign of the times, I've done more of those in the last 18 months than the preceding decade.
